With the help of Watkins Tree Service, the Lewiston Lions Club installed a light on the flag pole at the Community Center. They also put a light on the flag at the Lewiston Cemetery. The lights were purchased with the proceeds from the “Pennies for Projects” jars that are located at The Twisted River Cafe, The Plug & Jug Market, Maxwell’s Market, The Lewiston Mini Mart and Mountain Valley Grill. So if you have been saving pennies for years and don’t want to roll them, deposit them in one of the jars.
