UPDATE: The No. 3-seeded Hayfork High School boys basketball team fell 80-64 at McCloud in the NSCIF Div. 7 semifinals Thursday, Feb. 14.
The Timberjacks finish the season 10-12 overall, 7-5 and fourth in the Evergreen League.
The No. 2-seeded McCloud will face No. 1-seed Butte Valley on Saturday, Feb. 23, for the NSCIF Div. 7 championship.
The No. 3-seeded Hayfork High School boys basketball team defeated Greenville 87-77 in the opening round of the NSCIF Div. 7 playoffs Tuesday, Feb. 12. The Timberjacks now go on the road to face No. 2-seed McCloud in the semifinals with a 7 p.m. tipoff scheduled for tonight, Feb. 14. Hayfork dropped two games to league-rival McCloud last week, losing home-and-away games, 64-57 at home and 55-46 at McCloud.
The Loggers are coming off an 84-44 first-round victory over Ipakanni Early College Charter. McCloud finished the regular season 10-8 overall, 8-4 and third place in the Evergreen League. The Timberjacks finished the regular season 9-11 overall, 7-5 and fourth in the Evergreen League.

UPDATE: The Trinity at Hamilton girls basketball playoff game has been changed to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, due to the weather.
The Trinity High School girls basketball team is seeded seventh in the NSCIF Div. 5 playoffs and will travel to Hamilton High School (Glenn County) for an opening-round game.
The Lady Wolves finished the regular season 13-15 overall, 5-5 and fourth place in the Shasta Cascade League. Hamilton is 22-6, 8-1 and Mid-Valley League champion.

The Hayfork High School girls basketball team lost 58-35 at Greenville High School (Plumas County) in the opening round of the NSCIF Div. 7 playoffs Wednesday night, Feb. 13. The Lady Jacks finished the season 8-14 overall, 5-7 and in fifth place in the Evergreen League.
