Both Trinity And Hayfork high school football teams finally saw action this past weekend after two weeks of cancellations due to fires/smoke/evacuations.

Trinity lost to Etna 30-12 Saturday night at Weed High School (the game moved from Friday night and a smoky Etna High School to cleaner air).

Hayfork opened its season with a 28-14 loss at Dunsmuir.
