The Trinity High School varsity football team won its first game of the season Friday night, defeating visiting Hamilton 32-0.

The Wolves are now 1-6 overall, 1-1 and tied for third in the Mid-Valley League. Hamilton falls to 1-6, 0-2.

The JV Wolves lost 51-8 and fall to 0-7, 0-2.

In a battle of top-ranked 5-1 teams, Hayfork lost on the road Friday night to Redding Christian, 40-20.

The Timberjacks are now 5-2 overall, 3-2 and fourth in the California-North 8-Man League. Redding Christian remains atop the standings at 6-1, 5-0.
