In NSCIF basketball playoff action Wednesday night:

*The Hayfork girls defeated Princeton 63-27 in a Div. 7 matchup. The Lady Jacks move on to face No. 2-seeded Mercy (Red Bluff) at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21.

*The Trinity boys lost 64-56 at Williams in Div. 5 play. The Wolves finish the season 10-19 overall, 3-7 and tied for fourth in the Shasta Cascade League.

In second-round action tonight:

*The Hayfork boys host Butte Valley at 7 p.m. in the Hayfork Elementary School gym.

*The Trinity girls host East Nicolaus at 7 p.m. at Central Valley High School, Shasta Lake.
