The seventh-seeded Trinity boys varsity basketball team defeated visiting Biggs (No. 10) 55-40 Wednesday night, Feb. 16, in the first round of the NSCIF Div. 5 playoffs. The Wolves now travel to Hamilton on Friday, Feb. 18 for a second-round matchup with the No. 2 Braves.

Trinity is 10-16 on the season, and finished 1-9 and in sixth place in the Shasta Cascade League. Read more

After knocking off No. 4 seed Western Sierra in Round 1 of the state Div. 5 volleyball playoffs, the Trinity High School girls took care of business in Round 2, defeating No. 5 seed Vacaville Christian 3-2 Thursday night, Oct. 11.

The 13th-seeded Lady Wolves needed all five games to get past the host Falcons -- 17-25, 25-26, 19-25, 25-18, 15-12.

Trinity (21-10 overall) now travels to face the No. 8 seed Drew (San Francisco) at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, in the regional semifinals. Drew is 18-5 overall, 8-2 and second place in the Bay Counties-Central league. Read more
