I had forgotten how much you Trinity lefties here hate the wisdom expressed by (former U.K. Prime Minister: 1940-45, 1951-55) Winston Churchill during his lifetime. “I love this country, it’s the government I’m afraid of,” he once said.

By now President Joe Biden has removed Churchill’s bust from the White House, again, as did former President Barack Obama during his time there. It was Donald Trump who brought it back.

I suppose the left hates Churchill so because they cannot refute his logic; not back then and not today, either.

“A nation that forgets its past has no future.” Or, “you don’t make the poor richer by making the rich poorer.”

“Nations that go down fighting rise up again, those who surrender tamely, perish.”

And finally, I’d like to direct this one to retired Trinity Journal photographer Phil Nelson over there in Junction City. “I’d rather argue against a hundred idiots, than have one agree with me.”
