TDS, our provider, says this outage could continue for another month.
TDS has provided sketchy service to our area for several years.
Some residents of Trinity Center can get cell service, but residents of Coffee Creek cannot.
We only have landlines.
This creates a dangerous problem as we cannot dial 911 for emergency services.
We have an aged population.
When the Forest Service shows up for a fire they bring a temporary tower.
Why can’t the county get us a temporary tower and make TDS pay for it?
Will it take someone needing emergency care and dying for the lack of that care to bring the powers that be to help us?
We need phone service.
We need to be able to call 911.
