James “Jim” Dickerson died March 13, 2020, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, Calif.

He was born July 17, 1946, in Wheeling, W.V. He and his family moved from San Jose, Calif., to Trinity County (Douglas City) in 1980. He and his wife Linda moved to Redding in the late 1980s.

Jim worked for the Weaverville Sanitary District and at the Water District during their time in Trinity. Many of the residents of Trinity County that they knew are either no longer living or have moved on. This announcement is for those who remember Jim.

Surviving Jim is wife Linda and their sons, James Eric, Bill and Tom. Their son, Robert, went to be with the Lord in 1991.

A memorial service has not been scheduled yet due to the coronavirus travel ban.
