Elizabeth M. O’Hara

Elizabeth M. O’Hara (“Beth”) passed away on Jan. 5, 2021, at the age of 87. She was born in Weaverville. During most of her childhood she lived in Junction City with her four siblings, Ted, Patricia, Laura Ann and Roland.

Beth had four children, Bert, Rock, Becky and Ward. Beth was preceded in death by her siblings, Ted, Patricia, and Laura Ann, and her two sons, Bert and Rock. She is survived by her brother, Roland, her daughter, Becky, her son, Ward, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Beth was a kind and giving person with an infectious smile and enduring personality. She loved Weaverville, and the people living there, including all her relatives. She also loved horses, and to paint. One of her paintings can be found hanging in the Diggins in Weaverville.

Beth will be missed by all who knew her. A celebration of Beth’s life will be held in the spring of 2021.
