With profound sadness we announce the passing of Nora Crawford-DeWinter, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on June 28, 2021.
She had a vivacious personality and always made friends everywhere she went. She was warm and caring and never failed to make others laugh. She was the embodiment of living life to the fullest and she had a way of encouraging those around her to do the same.
She loved to cook, to decorate, and was incredibly crafty. She truly was a jack of all trades. Nora will always be remembered for her phenomenal voice; she could captivate a room with her beauty and grace but could steal the hearts of an audience with her voice. Throughout her years, her musical talent connected her with so many wonderful people who she loved and cherished. She was made for center stage with her confidence and charisma, she sang with passion from her heart. Her talent went beyond center stage.
Nora was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She loved her kids more than life itself. She truly treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She always took a moment to remind her children of how proud of them she was, she instilled in them strong values and will dearly be missed.
She is survived by her two children, Trevor DeWinter and Lisa DeWinter-Sunahara (Rio Sunahara), and grandchildren Joseph and Olivia. Nora also leaves behind her brother Mack Crawford and nieces and nephews as well as many close friends that she would consider family.
Funeral arrangements to be determined.
