Kavan Jentry Roberts of Eddyville, Ore., passed away on the morning of May 21, 2020. He earned his wings at the age of 10.
Kavan was born on June 15, 2009, in Toledo, Ore. Kavan, known by most as Cavemonster, was a very eager child when it came to most plans. He was always ready before it was time to go, even days in advance. Kavan was in fifth grade at Eddyville Elementary School. He was a member of MT Baber ATV club where he loved to ride dirt bikes with his family and friends. He was a very avid fisherman. When out fishing he never walked away without catching something, even when he broke his pole.
Kavan was outgoing and thoughtful, who made friends everywhere he went. He was known by his family and friends to be clever, crafty, and witty. He loved reading anything from comic books and textbooks to billboards.
He had an avid love for the outdoors, climbing trees, fishing, motorbike riding, camping, video gaming and animals. And he loved picking up rocks wherever he went.
He is survived by his brother Josoph, of Eddyville, Ore.; paternal grandparents Verna Roberts (Rick) of Hayfork, Calif., and Otis Sutton (predeceased) of Hayfork; mother Katlyne Fritz (Michael) of Lincoln City, Ore.; maternal grandparents Kavan W. Fritz (predeceased) and Susan Williams of Lewiston, Calif.; plus great-grandparents Nolan H. Fritz and Marion (predeceased) of Eureka, Calif.
His father Jacob Roberts (Marie), recently died of complications resulting from the same accident.
He had a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
A celebration of life to be announced in coming weeks. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kavan Roberts Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.
