Shane Hale lost his beloved wife Dianne Hale on Oct. 26, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. She was 78 years old.
A celebration of life for Dianne will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Mountain Chapel, followed by a light lunch.
Shane wanted to let the community know how he felt about his dear wife. Here is the letter in his own words: Dianne always loved knitting and making things.
She was married to a very handsome man named Shane who loved her very much. They spent a lot of time together going out to eat and to the movies together. Shane and Dianne were together for 11½ years.
She was always on my side and there when I needed her. I’m going to miss those days but she will always be in my thoughts and memories, but mainly in my heart. She helped me out a lot by keeping the house clean and cooking good meals for me, my favorite of hers that she would cook was her meatloaf.
We both went to a program called Trinity Disabilities Services (Shacade) every week. And hang out there for the day until 1. Dianne had a lot of friends in the program that liked her and are going to miss her and in the community.
Dianne would help me with my seizures when I had one coming on, if I was standing up, and keep me calm until it was over and brought me a wet rag to put on my forehead while I was laying down.
