Dianne Marie Wiberg

Dianne Marie Wiberg, our beloved mother and wife, passed away peacefully in her sleep in early October 2019 after a long battle with dementia, with her daughter Kathy and husband Jeff at her side.

In her younger years she moved around a lot; as her father was a career Marine. She loved and was proud to be a “Military Brat” as she called herself. When she came to Trinity County in 1973, she fell in love with the area and the community. She knew she had “found her home.”

She worked in the school system for 35 years, 30 of those years at Trinity High School as a paraeducator. She absolutely loved working with the students. She is known by many for motivating the students with her pumpkin bread.

She quickly connected with others due to her embracing all with kindness, compassion, positive encouragement and enthusiasm for life. She was a fierce and loyal protector of those she loved and those she felt needed someone to be there for them.

With her talent of cooking, canning and wine making she was always willing to share her knowledge and enjoyed gifting them to others.

She enjoyed photography, gardening, and treasured her time camping and kayaking with her husband Jeff, taking care of her home and especially cherished her time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father Bill Thomas and mother Lucy Almon.

She is survived by her loving husband Jeff Wiberg; sons Mike and Joe Manning; daughters Kathy Manning and Tammy Case; sister Sharon Thomas; brother John Thomas; brother-in-law Randy Wiberg, two nieces, two nephews, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She helped and touched so many lives. She will be dearly missed.

No services will be held. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. We will cherish hearing your stories and memories.
