On Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, Patricia Ione Meyers died due to complications of a stroke at the age of 93.

Pat was born in Minneapolis, Minn., on Jan. 14, 1927, to Dorothy Wolfgram and Carroll Stillman; she was the eldest of three daughters. Pat moved to California at the age of 18. She married C. Joseph Meyers in Los Angeles on Dec. 29, 1956, and they lived in Ventura County,  Calif., for many years where they established a dental lab.

When they retired, they traveled the United States pulling a camper for five years. On this camping tour, they discovered Coffee Creek and the beauty of the Trinity Alps. This led to the purchase of the property on One Eyed Flat. The family joined together and moved them to their new home and a short time later their grandson Sam Brinton and family purchased the adjoining property.

Pat was very active for many years in the Coffee Creek Fireflies, making crafts to help support the fire department. She developed many wonderful friends here in Coffee Creek and cherished them until the end.

Joe died July 24, 1992, from a heart attack and after his death she moved to Redding but still remained a Firefly! She treasured her many friends always.

In July 2015 she moved to Ojai, Calif., to live with her stepdaughter Susan Sullivan and husband Tom Sullivan and lived there until 2017 when they all moved to Tennessee.

Pat had two sisters that predeceased her, Betty Pierson and Janice Lebel. She had a stepdaughter Robin Brennan and another grandson Shaun that also predeceased her. She has several nieces and nephews in Washington, Minnesota, Tennessee and Ohio.

Pat was a very special women, always a lady and a very caring wife. She will be missed by many. Rest in peace with those who have been waiting for you.

Services will be announced at a later time.
