Andy A. Hill

Andy Allen Hill passed away at the age of 49 on June 26, 2020, at his home of a sudden illness.

He was born on April 16, 1971, in Redding, Calif. He lived in Hayfork all his life and was a graduate of Hayfork High School. He was employed by Sierra Pacific Industries, Trinity River Lumber and then Chris Madden with Madden Painting at the time of his death.

Andy was better known to his friends as “Hillbilly.” He loved to hunt, cut firewood and pan gold. Anything that had to do with the outdoors was up his alley.

Andy is survived by his mother Barbara; his daughters Brittny and Haley; and his girlfriend Tangier and their daughter Stella.

Andy was preceded in death by his father Allen on Dec. 31, 2018.  

A joint graveside service for Andy and his father will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at the Hayfork Cemetery.
