Elmer C. Reynolds died May 25, 2019. He was 76.

He was born Nov. 7, 1942, in Kelso, Wash.

He served in the U.S. Navy as a ship fitter/welder. He spent many years as a logger running all types of equipment and falling timber. He was a very passionate pool player, playing in the Trinity County Pool League for many years.

He came to California in search of gold, which brought him to Big Bar in the 1990s. In 2005 he married Gloria Reynolds and leaves behind a son Nicholas, stepdaughter Julia and many more children and grandchildren in Washington.  

There will be a memorial service held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Trinity Alps Mortuary, followed by a pool tournament/reception at Tangle Blue Saloon, 160 Nugget Lane, Weaverville.

He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
