Clarence Fredrickson passed away at home at 92 years of age, on Nov. 14, 2019.
He married his wife Charlene in 1978, who affectionately called him “Fred.” Clarence is also survived by his daughter, four stepchildren, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and one very spoiled dog, Mickey, who even came to visit him in the hospital.
Clarence was born on Aug. 17, 1927 in San Francisco, Calif. He traveled the world for eight years with the Navy and has lived all over Northern California. For the past 27 years, he loved calling Hayfork his home.
In 1990 he retired from PG&E after his career as a lineman, utility man, ditch tender, troubleshooter, and all-around hard worker. Since 1997, he was known in the community as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He loved the Bible and loved to share what he had learned with others. His family and friends will greatly miss him and his smile.
