MIKE WENNINGER | SPECIAL TO THE TRINITY JOURNAL
Directors of the Rural Creative Reuse Project visited the Arcata Community Recycling Center Monday as part of their preparation for starting a pilot program in Trinity County. The Arcata program has been operating since 1970 and it also serves Eureka. Above, Kimberly Piazza of Junction City talks with Mark Loughmiller, executive director of the Arcata program. The RCRP will promote reuse of many materials that now go into Trinity County’s dumps. Accompanying Piazza to Arcata were Eric Blomberg, Marie Faulk and Jeanne Fields.
