Supervisor Morris receives CSAC Circle of Service Award
During the 126th annual meeting of The California State Association of Counties, the statewide organization representing all 58 counties, Trinity County Supervisor and CSAC Board Member Judy Morris was honored with a CSAC Circle of Service Award. This award is a way for CSAC to recognize county officials, staff and other association-affiliated members whose service to the association and membership has been substantially above and beyond the norm.
“During her tenure, Supervisor Morris has demonstrated versatility and vast knowledge of many issues while serving CSAC in a wide variety of important leadership capacities,” said CSAC Executive Director Graham Knaus. “Supervisor Morris has been a strong voice for rural issues, bringing that voice regularly to Sacramento, and she will be greatly missed in her well-earned retirement.”
Beyond representing Trinity County on the CSAC Board of Directors, Supervisor Morris has served terms as the Association Treasurer, Chair of the Government Finance & Administration Policy Committee, Co-Chair of the Women’s Leadership Forum and Co-Chair of the CSAC Cannabis Working Group.
