Volunteers were seen setting up a large Christmas tree Friday afternoon, Nov. 20, next to the Bandstand in downtown Weaverville. Ryan Crockett said the tree was donated to the county by the local U.S. Forest Service office. The tree took some time to stabilize but was finally weighed down using a washtub and bags of sand.
