The Weaverville Library was set to reopen Monday, Sept. 14. Library hours are 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. The Trinity Center Branch Library will be open beginning today, Sept. 16, from noon to 4 p.m. The Hayfork Branch Library will open Monday, Sept. 21.

Masks and social distancing are required and visits must be kept short, but most services are available including computers, Wi-Fi, photocopying and faxing. Books, audio books, magazines and DVDs are available for borrowing.

Despite earlier concerns, the libraries have been fully funded for the 2020-2021 fiscal year and the ZIP program is funded as well.
