Help with fixing pets

Posted: Wednesday, January 29, 2014 8:45 am

February is USA Spay & Neuter Month. To support this program the Trinity County Animal Shelter will give additional funds to the first 100 people to help with the cost to alter their pet. The public can get a dog certificate for $60 or a cat certificate for $40 with an additional 10 percent off from local veterinarians. There is a limit of two certificates per family and dogs must have a current license.

When the February certificates are gone the shelter will continue to help by giving $50 per dog or $30 per cat. These certificates are available throughout the year and you can pick one up at the Trinity County Animal Shelter, 563 Mountain View St. in Weaverville, or call 623-1370.
