Dump fee hikes proposed

Dump closures and higher tipping fees are being considered as the Trinity County Solid Waste Department has begun tapping its reserves in order to keep up with rising costs.

There hasn’t been a fee increase since 2004 and Solid Waste Director/Ag Commissioner Mark Lockhart said he is proud of what the solid waste division has accomplished with the funding available.
