“It was a perfect example of absolute determination and love,” said Evelyn Haynes-Simons, one of the organizers of the scratch-made Hayfork Thanksgiving Day dinner drive-through.

Some “335 dinners delivered in a Thanksgiving drive-through to our community. COVID may be here, but it does not define or defy the spirit of those who work together toward a common goal.

“Thank you Hayfork for coming out, thank you to the crew who happily worked to make it happen and many thanks to those who offered help and donations. I am very thankful for all of you!”
