Trinity County Sheriff’s Investigators are seeking information following a reported home invasion robbery in Trinity Pines Monday.

According to a TCSO release, California Highway Patrol officers responded to a report that three vehicles were taken from a residence in Trinity Pines. Upon further investigation, it was discovered the vehicles were taken in the commission of a home invasion robbery.

TCSO took over the investigation, interviews and evidence processing at the scene.

“What is presently known is that there were between five and seven suspects, all male, all dressed in black and wearing complete black face masks. The suspects were also armed with various firearms and spoke English,” a Monday release stated. “The suspects stole approximately 100 pounds of processed marijuana, three additional firearms, a variety of cellular telephones and the following three vehicles: [A] 2000 Toyota Tundra, red in color, California Plate: 6C17222, [a] 2014 Jeep Wrangler, grey in color, Minnesota Plate: 404NHB [and a] 2007 Toyota Tacoma, blue in color, Massachusetts Plate: 3LJB41.”

None of the four victims were hurt. Sheriff’s Detective Josh Ford said all four victims were held outside and two were tied up in the commission of the robbery.

Several pieces of evidence were submitted to the Department of Justice for processing.
