For all you fish lovers out there, the Six Rivers Lions Club will be putting on an all-you-can eat fish fry at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at the community hall. For more information, call 707-499-2893 or 707-574- 6655.

The Trinity County Rabies Clinic will take place from 9 to 10 a m. Saturday, May 15, at the community hall. All dogs must be on a leash plus you must license your dog to receive the rabies discount.

The children’s free fishing derby is approaching fast. For more information, call 707-574-6332. The derby is from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 8, at Ruth Lake Marina.

Ruth Lake Community Services needs your help with establishing a cemetery in our area. They would like for you to express your opinion. For more information call RLCSD at 707-574- 6332 from 8 a.m. to 3 p m. Monday through Friday.

On Saturday, June 26, will be a run/walk race that will start at 10:30 a m. This event will start at Ruth Dam and the finish line will be Hetten Cove. This is a nonprofit event. To request registration forms and more information call 707- 574-6268. Race terrain is a dirt road on gently rolling hills.
