SO. TRINITY NEWS

BY WANDA LEVITT . 707-574-6536 sunshine95552@yahoo.com

The St. Patrick’s Day dinner will be held this coming Saturday at the community hall. Cocktail hour will start at 5 p m. and dinner at 6. Reservations are required. On the menu will be corned beef, cabbage, carrots, red potatoes and Irish soda bread. Southern Trinity 4-H Club will auction off the desserts. The Code Violators will not be able to make this event; music will be provided by another source. For more information call Don or Marge Cole at 574-6217 or JR. Davis at 574-6061.

In advance we would like to take this time to thank all the people who are involved with making this dinner a success: JR. Davis, Ethan Davis, Don Cole, Jack Branham, Brenda Landfried, Don and Rosalind Soucy, Don and Rosie Straw, and Eric and Camille Rossen.

Coming up fast will be the annual Ruth Community Easter-Egg Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 3. They need donations to help make the Easter celebration a fun time for all. For more information call Sherral Bridge at 574-6436.

Looking at the calendar I see we will need to set our clocks ahead one hour this Sunday morning (or Saturday evening before you go to bed). I am not a happy camper about the time change but will survive.

The Lions Club will hold its regular meeting on Wednesday, March 17. Seniors will have their luncheon at noon Friday, March 19. Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
