Trinity Journal staff

Hayfork’s girls basketball team will face Butte Valley at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 5, at Chico State in the Northern Section CIF finals. The game pits the top two seeds in the Division 6 playoff bracket, with the No. 1-seeded Hayfork Timberjacks (19-7) trying to derail a Butte Valley’s (22-0) perfect season.

The Lady Jacks got into the championship game with a 44-34 win Tuesday over Redding Christian. Jamie Curry scored 16 and Karmin McNeill added 12 for Hayfork.
