Last week’s visitors weren’t just for the boys, as the girls teams had some positive things going on as well. The varsity girls (3-14, 2-4) lost their game against Etna on Wednesday, 69-44, but when Weed came Friday they were victorious at last, finally breaking their streak of losses by winning 42-35. However, it didn’t stop there, for they kept their momentum going into Saturday against Modoc, whom they defeated with a decisive 52-33 win, putting their league record back into the running with this brand new batch of wins.
