FISHING REPORT
      The creeks and river flows are starting to increase by about 1.5 to 2.5 feet on the main stem Trinity, the Upper River, and 2 to 4 feet on the lower parts of the river. The upper river has about 3 feet of visibility and good color while the lower river has turned a nice green with about 2 feet of visibility.

Hunter safety class offered
     The Trinity Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will be hosting a Hunters Safety Certification Class Feb. 20-21 at the Weaverville Elementary School cafeteria.

Lewiston Gun Club meets Feb. 27
     The sixth annual Lewiston Gun Club dinner meeting and election of officers is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Lewiston Community Center on Texas Avenue. The members-only event menu will include prime rib, rice pilaf, vegetables, rolls, desserts and wine at a cost of $25 per person.

     Feb. 3, 2010 As the Moon climbs into view around midnight, a bright star shines just a little to its upper left: Spica, the leading light of the constellation Virgo. They will stand low in the sky at first light tomorrow, with Spica to the upper right of the Moon.
