Art Cruise this Saturday
Judi Haseltine’s portraits will be on display at the Trinity County Chamber of Commerce.
Trinity County’s artists will help brighten up the gray days of winter at February’s Art Cruise which takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, along Main Street in downtown Weaverville.
Among those venues displaying art:
HAWK PHOTO ART GALLERY: Photography from several artists, and handcrafted jewelry.
FOLK ART CENTER at the Lee Ranch House: The art of Victoria Randolph.
UMPQUA BANK: Paula Masterman’s beaded masterpieces.
TRINITY COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Portrait paintings by Judi Haseltine. Haseltine moved from Napa Valley to Trinity County 10 years ago, and is an accomplished artist in many different types of art. Now retired, Haseltine volunteers with the Trinity County Arts Council as its treasurer.
5 WINDOWS: The 5 Windows Gallery welcomes the community to enjoy its third annual Men’s Invitational. Painters, photographers, glassblowers, potters, woodworkers and more will convene to produce a fantastic display of artwork. Participating artists include Geoffrey Beebe, John Bradford, Jean-Pierre Brandt, Jerry Cousins, Keith Crane, Jim Dippery, John Garrett, Josh Hamilton, Neil Harvey, Buddy Hazard, John Heilman, Michael Karns, Greg Olson, Dennis Schroeder, Brad Snodgrass, John Stewart and others. The gallery on the corner of Highway 299 and Highway 3 in Weaverville.
MAIN STREET GALLERY: “Wearable Art” including an eclectic selection of jewelry. In its back gallery, Hosmer’s “Playthings” wooden toys and custom furniture, plus the People’s Choice winners from January’s “Encore show.”
HIGHLAND ART CENTER: The show, which celebrates Valentine’s Day in the Year of the Tiger, will feature artists using the theme of valentines, hearts, tigers and Chinese New Year. Refreshments will be served. This show continues daily through March 28.
ALSO OPEN: Selah; Main Street Shoes; and Kudos, featuring Valentine specials with fantastic florals, yummy chocolates and gifts.
