Holiday music show


The Trinity High School Choir, the Weaverville Community Band and Jazz Band, and the Weaverville Elementary School Jazz Band will present a concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at the Trinity Alps Performing Arts Center. The program will feature a number of holiday selections by the choir, traditional marches and music from Broadway by the community band, and big band jazz by the jazz bands. The musical groups are directed by Randall Walker. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, and will be available at the door. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the THS choir and WES jazz band programs. During intermission, the Trinity Garden Club will sell concession items to benefit the club's garden projects in Weaverville.
