MONROE M. 'BILL' LEE

Monroe M. “Bill” Lee, 79, of Hayfork, died Nov. 3, 2009, at Northern California Rehabilitation Hospital in Redding.

He was born Aug. 3, 1930, in Poteau, Okla. He moved to Trinity County from Yreka, Calif., about 50 years ago. He was a fork lift operator in the lumber industry for 49 years.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Lee of Hayfork; children Donald Lee (Teresa), Carl Lee, Marcus Lee (Anna), Martin Lee (Margaret), Terry Young (Charles), Gene Lee (Kathy), Roger
Lee (Brenda), Judy Jaegel (Roger) and Betty Leedy (Thomas); 25 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hayfork , c/o Barbara Davis who has been a wonderful neighbor.

Arrangements are being handled by Forrest Funeral Home in Weaverville.
