Autumn Bike Fest Saturday at Turtle Bay

Turtle Bay Exploration Park and the Bike Shop will present an Autumn Bike Fest Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Turtle Bay.

Come out and test ride the newest TREK bikes and get cycling information from local organizations and bicycling clubs, such as the Shasta Wheelmen, Redding Mountain Biking Club and Trader Joes, or take a spin on Healthy Shasta's Bike Blender, and whip yourself up a healthy smoothie.

There will be special movie presentations in the Visitor Center Theater. The Redding Mountain Biking Club is sponsoring a movie entitled "Mountain Menace to Mountain Biker" produced by Sabrina Morgan, at 10:30 a.m. and noon. At 11 a.m. there will be a special showing of "24 Solo," which follows the gutwrenching story of Chris Eatough on his quest for a 7th World Title in the unforgiving discipline of 24 hour solo mountain bike racing.
