Three Christmass bazaars

There will be an early Christmas bazaar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Golden Age Center, Weaverville, with many vendors there to help you find just the right handcrafted Christmas present. Also, there will be homemade candy, cookies, pies and bread. The kitchen will be open for lunch.

The Willow Creek China Flat Museum will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar on the first three weekends in December beginning Dec. 4. The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each weekend. There will be more than 40 local vendors from the Klamath-Trinity area with a wide variety of handcrafted items for sale including jewelry, quilts, jams, knit and felted scarves, hats and purses, flavored oils, plants, homemade candies and many more unique items. The museum is located near the corner of Highways 299 and 96 in Willow Creek.

The Maggie Dickson/ Willow Creek Kiwanis Christmas Bazaar will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Neighborhood Facility in Hoopa. This event will feature local vendors specializing in American Indian wares and lots of great food. Look for jewelry, pottery, canned smoked salmon, knit and crochet items, kids toys, wood carvings, etched elk horn, beads and other items. While supporting local vendors, the Kiwanis club will use the proceeds from this event to fund scholarships to local high school and college students.
