SDA school veggie booth

The Hayfork Seventh-day Adventist Church School will be operating a food concession at the Trinity County Fair.

This particular concession is only open on Friday until a half-hour before sundown, and then it is closed all day Saturday, the Sabbath, reopening Saturday night after sundown.

This is the only fast-food booth at the fair that has totally vegetarian entrees, and many are also vegan or totally plant-based — corn dogs, haystacks, shaved ice, vege-burgers using Morning Star Farms Grillers and Boca Burgers. Also, chili dogs and plain chili will be served. Bring this article and receive half off on any entree served. Bottled water will also be available.

All proceeds from the concession go to support the Hayfork SDA School, the only Christian school in Trinity County.
