TRAFFIC WATCH

Caltrans has several ongoing projects scheduled through Thursday, July 2, in Trinity County. There are no construction projects scheduled for the three-day holiday weekend July 3-5.

On Highway 3, from the Weaverville junction of Highway 299 to 1.2 miles north, pavement work will continue from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Thursday. One-way traffic control will be in place with up to eightminute delays.

On Highway 3, from 12.3 miles north of Trinity Center to 3.1 miles south of the Trinity/Siskiyou county line, pavement work will continue from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. through Thursday. Oneway traffic control will be in place with up to 10-minute delays.

On Highway 36, from the Trinity/Shasta county line to 5.3 miles west of Wildwood Road, pavement work will continue from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Thursday. One-way traffic control will be in place with up to 10-minute delays.

On Highway 299, from 0.9 of a mile to 1.9 miles east of Salyer, pavement widening will continue from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sept. 30. Oneway traffic control will be in place with up to eight-minute delays.

On Highway 299, from 1.5 mile to 2.5 miles east of Burnt Ranch, pavement widening will continue from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday. Five-minute delays.

On Highway 299, from 2.1 miles east of Trinity Dam Boulevard to 1.3 miles west of the Trinity/ Shasta county line, pavement widening will continue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Thursday. One-way traffic control will be in place with up to 12-minute delays.

A special event — the Weaverville Fourth of July Parade — will close Highway 299 in both directions (detours available) at Forest Avenue/Garden Gulch to Mill Street in Weaverville from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 4.
