Host families needed for visiting students

The American Field Service is looking for host families in Trinity County.

"We're not going to have a student next year unless we have a host family," said Kathy Larson, a member of the AFS committee for the Trinity and Redding area.

If hosting is too much, residents wanting to be involved can also volunteer to act as a liaison to work with the visiting student and host family or help in other ways.

Trinity students are sent abroad as well through the AFS program.
