Several letter writers to the Journal have echoed the barking seals of right-wing talk radio: Obama is imposing socialism on us and limiting "free enterprise." The naked truth is, like Franklin Roosevelt, Obama is a liberal and a capitalist. Like Roosevelt he is trying to save the capitalists from themselves. This is a big job. More ... When the federal, state or county governments fall short on funds they cut programs, raise taxes and up various fees to try to make up for their shortfall. You don't see one politician without food or homeless. The next in line is the business owner who raises his prices to make up for his or her losses. More ... I recall a couple of articles in a newspaper approximately two years ago; the first one I couldn't miss. It was titled in large bold print at the top of the page and took up a quarter of the page.
