Bring your appetites to the St. Patrick's Day dinner on Saturday, March 14, at the community hall on the Van Duzen road. A cocktail hour is at 5 p.m. and dinner starts at 6 p.m. The menu will include corned beef and cabbage, carrots, red potatoes and Irish soda bread. Adults will be $12 and children under 10 are $6. There will be a cover charge of $6 without the meal if you want to come and listen to the band. For more information, contact Don or Marge at 574-6217 or JR or Brenda at 574-6061. Reservations are required. Live music by the Code Violators. The Southern Trinity Volunteer Fire Department sponsors this event. Remember to wear green.

Six Rivers Seniors will be serving breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, at the community hall.

AARP Six Rivers Chapter #3351 installed new offi- cers on Jan. 16. Congratulation to President Jim White, Vice President Jack Levitt and Treasurer Rosie Straw.

I was looking at the community hall calendar and noticed that the Chili Cook Off will be held on Friday, Feb. 27. All you great cooks get ready for this fun event.
