Youth flag football games

October 25 Varsity Division results: In a very close game, Douglas City Cowboys defeated Hayfork Rams 6-2. Haley Dulong scored the single TD for Cowboys while Brett Ferguson scored a 2-point safety for the Rams. Then Douglas City Cowboys turned around to play their second game for the day and defeated Weaverville Rams 22-12. For the Cowboys, Jarod, Jesse Barone and Thomas Brown each scored a TD. Dakota Lyons and Tyler Cannon each scored a TD for the Weaverville Rams.

The game between Hayfork JV Rams and Douglas City JV Cowboys ended with a win for the Rams 25-0. Rams Joseph Nagle scored a TD while Kyle Treece scored three TDs .

On Sunday, Douglas City Pee Wee Cowboys were defeated by Weaverville Pee Wee Chargers 12-20. Jimmy Saulsbery and Forrest Hull both scored a TD for the Cowboys while Kyle Glenn scored two TDs, Tristan Chambers scored one TD for the Chargers.

Games played at the THS football field this coming weekend are as follows: Saturday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m., Hayfork Varsity Rams will play Douglas City Varsity Cowboys; Douglas City JV Cowboys will play Hayfork JV Rams around 11:15 a.m.; and the Douglas City Pee Wee Cowboys will play Weaverville Pee Wee Chargers after the JV game.
