Lately I've been hearing plenty of complaints and negative conversation about the fires and the strategies employed to manage and put them out. It touches me personally because my husband is a firefighter and I watch what he goes through every day to do his job. He's up at 5 each morning and sometimes not home until 10 p.m. More ... More ... With the budget problems here in Trinity County, our animal shelter attendant position may be cut. This position is not a highly paid position, but it is a very critical position to keep our animal shelter open. With only one animal control officer for all of Trinity County, this position is necessary to keep our ACO on the streets and working for us. More ... Please do not cut the animal shelter attendant position from the county budget. It will be a disservice to the community as a whole, if the Animal Control officer is needed to perform the attendant's duties at the animal shelter. More ...
