Legal assistant program offered at Trinity campus
      Shasta College's Legal Assistant Program now provides for transferability of coursework to four-year programs. The Extended Education campus in Trinity will begin offering the new curriculum via the college's interactive television network (ITV). The entire degree program will be offered in the evenings and can be completed in two years.

Graduated with honors at UC college
      Johaan Ryberg graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in June with a bachelor's degree in history with a minor in education and sports management. He was on the Dean's Honor List and is currently enrolled at the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education, UC Santa Barbara, pursuing a master's degree in education.

      There's a world of opportunity out there for young people, and 14 Trinity County high school students recently took advantage of a program to show some of it to them. The incoming sophomores and juniors from Trinity, Hayfork and Southern Trinity high schools participated in the Upward Bound program.
