Fire information from the Mad River District and Six Rivers National Forest: The Mad Complex Fire is 100 percent contained. The perimeters of the fires have been secured to a 300-foot width. Firefighters will continue to patrol these fires.

We still have 40 local and district personnel, three Type 2 hand crews, 16 engines and water tenders, one dozer with a total of 143 personnel. The Mad Complex is a collection of 35 wildfires ignited by a lighting storm on June 20. Fires have burned a total of 3,705 acres which are 100 percent contained. This information was dated July 13.

The Lime Complex consists of nine uncontained fires and 18 contained fires. Fire size from the Lime Complex 12,950 acres, 52 percent contained; drift smoke from the Shasta Trinity National Forest will remain until we experience a change in wind direction. Smoke in our area at this time would be from the Lime Complex.

A big thank you from all of us in Southern Trinity, to all the firefighters, local and district personnel. We do appreciate your hard work. Thanks to the fire officials from the Lime Complex and Mad Complex that provide the current fire situation.
