Creative writing at Shasta

Tony D'Souza will teach two classes of Creative Writing beginning in the fall semester of 2008 at Shasta College. Both classes will meet on Fridays, the first from noon to 3:10 p.m. and the second from 3:30 to 6:40 p.m. The classes are open to all students and community members.

D'Souza has contributed to such magazines as The New Yorker, Playboy, Salon and Esquire, and his first novel, "Whiteman," received national attention as a Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
