The Really Big Sheet Music Give-a-Way Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at the Trinity Congregational Church parish hall, 733 Main St., Weaverville. Thousands of pieces of sheet music, music books and vinyl records will be available, all free.

This special event is sponsored by the Redding Piano Angels, a North State nonprofit managed by former Trinity County resident Patrick Karch and his wife Pam. Pat and Pam are the worker bees who deliver pianos to kids at no cost. People who are finished enjoying their pianos donate to the Redding Piano Angels and a new home is sought. With the piano delivery, the Piano Angels provide a piano tuner list to the recipient. There is a special thrill in donating and receiving.

Re-homing pianos and music is supported by monetary donations. For more information see the website,, email or call 530-510-1903.

Please write your tax-deductible check to Redding Piano Angels, 10609 Old Oregon Trail, Redding, CA 96003.
