As always, there will be a variety of free community Thanksgiving dinners being held this year. Among them:

The Hayfork Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 24, at the Trinity County Fairgrounds dining hall, 6000 Highway 3.

Sit-down or bring a container to go. Bring a dessert to share. The Hayfork Elementary School After-School Program is making the table and wall decorations.

A free Community Thanksgiving Dinner is on for noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 24, at the Lewiston Moose Family Center, 71 Lewiston Road. Open to the public.

A free Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held Thursday, Nov. 24, at Mountain Chapel Assembly of God, 60 Oak Ridge Drive. Doors will open at 2 p.m. and dinner will be served at 3. This year there will be no take-outs or deliveries. However, there will be transportation available — call 951-463-1919; calls need to be made a day ahead of time if not sooner.
