Why go to the Festival of Light Crafts Fair? Would it be the $5 hot soup lunch on a crisp wintery day? Maybe the lure of holiday shopping with the many varied quality North State vendors will be the ticket. The sounds of music by the young budding musicians may draw you in, or the rare opportunity to purchase an arms-length of raffle tickets for so many wonderful prizes. Do you want to bring home wonderful home-baked goods for winter entertaining?

“I can do all this in one event?” you may ask.

Yes, and the most important part of the experience is knowing that this festival is a fundraiser with all proceeds from the lunch, bake sale, raffle and vendor fees supporting a Scholarship Fund providing art and music lessons to Trinity County children. What could be better?

Transport yourself to a magical world in a festive, holiday atmosphere.

Here’s when you go, where you go, and how you get there. Saturday, Nov. 10, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Veterans Memorial Hall, Memorial Drive, Weaverville, just off Highway 299. Free admission.
