Please join us on Saturday, May 18, at the Human Response Network’s 28th annual Children’s Festival for a day of free family fun, entertainment and activities.

This year the festival will be in a new location at the Weaverville Elementary School track. The fun starts at 11 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m., rain or shine. As always, this event is free to all participants. Barbecued hamburger and hot dog lunches will be available for $2, or families may bring their own picnic lunch.

Attractions will include a 30-foot inflatable Car’s slide, a Finding Nemo experience, and a Nerf Blaster! In addition, many community groups will host booths with hands-on activities for children and parents.

If you or your business would like to help sponsor this free event, or for more information, contact Shelly at Human Response Network at 623-2024 or 1-800-358-5251.
